Job Summary

We are looking for Quality Line Inspectors to carry out in-process and final inspections of automotive components and ensure that products meet customer specifications, drawings, quality standards, and internal requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform in-process and final inspection of automotive components.
- Inspect components as per engineering drawings, control plans, inspection standards, and customer specifications.
- Check critical dimensions using Vernier Caliper, Micrometer, Height Gauge, Bore Gauge, Profile Projector, Gauges, and other measuring instruments.
- Identify and segregate OK / NG components and maintain proper identification and traceability.
- Conduct first-piece, patrol/in-process, and final inspection as required.
- Monitor production processes and immediately report quality deviations, defects, and abnormalities.
- Prepare and maintain inspection reports, check sheets, rejection records, and quality documentation.
- Support defect analysis and corrective/preventive actions.
- Ensure proper handling and calibration status of measuring instruments.
- Work closely with Production and Quality Engineers to prevent recurring defects.
- Follow company quality procedures, safety requirements, 5S, and customer-specific requirements.




- Maintain proper housekeeping and discipline at the inspection area.

Required Qualification

- ITI / Diploma in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related engineering discipline.
- Candidates with relevant experience in automotive component manufacturing will be preferred.

Experience

- 1–4 years of experience in Quality Inspection / Line Inspection in an automotive or engineering manufacturing environment.
- Freshers with strong technical knowledge may also be considered.

Preferred Skills

- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and dimensional inspection.
- Knowledge of GD&T; is an advantage.
- Familiarity with automotive manufacturing processes such as stamping, machining, welding, grinding, burnishing, and heat treatment is preferred.
- Knowledge of 7 QC tools and basic problem-solving techniques is an added advantage.
- Ability to identify defects accurately and take timely action.
- Valuable communication and reporting skills.
- Willingness to work in shift operations.
