Position: Inspector & Engineer

Department: Machine Shop – Quality (In-Process)
Experience: 1 to 8 years
Process: In-Process Quality Inspection with CMM Knowledge
Salary (CTC): ₹20,000 – ₹30,000 per month, based on experience and skill level
Job Responsibilities ∙Perform in-process quality inspections of machined components as per engineering drawings and customer specifications. ∙Inspect critical dimensions and CTQ (Critical to Quality) characteristics during machining operations. ∙Operate or interpret measurements from CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machine) equipment. ∙Use measuring instruments such as Vernier Calipers, Micrometers, Bore Gauges, Height Gauges, and other precision instruments. ∙Read and interpret engineering drawings, GD&T;, and dimensional tolerances. ∙Monitor machining processes and ensure compliance with quality standards. ∙Identify dimensional deviations, defects, and non-conformities, and report them to the concerned team. ∙Prepare and maintain inspection reports and quality records. ∙Coordinate with Production and Quality teams to resolve process-related quality issues.



∙Ensure adherence to customer-specific requirements, 5S, and safety standards.
Eligibility
∙ITI / Diploma / BE in Mechanical, Production, Automobile, or related disciplines.
∙Minimum 1 year and maximum 8 years of relevant experience in in-process quality inspection.
∙Knowledge of CMM operation, programming, or measurement interpretation is preferred. ∙Experience in CNC Turning and Milling component inspection is an advantage.
∙Valuable knowledge of engineering drawings, GD&T;, and precision measuring instruments. Key Skills
