Position:

Fabrication Lead – Assistant Manager ( Production)

Education: B.E/Diploma - Mechanical Engineer

Experience: Experience Field: 08 - 10 Years’ experience in sheet metal & Heavy Fabrication Industry.

Process Knowledge – welding/ Laser/TPP/Bending /

Location: Bangalore, Karnataka

Specific skills:

Ø Strong skills in manpower, material, and machine planning, along with effective supervision.

Ø In-depth knowledge of welding processes and relevant certifications such as AWS CWI, CSWIP Level 3, or IWE Certification.

Ø Strong planning and supervisory skills with a good understanding of product safety requirements.

Ø Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.

Ø Experience in customer complaint handling through effective coordination with the Quality team.

Ø Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

Ø Strong knowledge of problem-solving techniques, 8D report preparation, Kaizen, and Lean Manufacturing principles..

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Plan & schedule shifts / daily production activities with respect to customer requirement & priority.

2. Allocation, Monitor, Control & Measure work force respect to the allocated work force by management.

3. Prime responsibility on 5S, Safety, Quality & Production output.

4. Ensure Line should not stop due to Man Power, Material, Machine crisis & Line should run smoothly.

Should have strong technically knowledge on Production process & System approach.

6. Ensure, control & Measure Shift output, Production report, Grape chart, Route cards & Self-inspection check list.

7. Should closely follow up with all Cross Functional Departments to ensure smooth flow of production.

8. Conduct regular Meetings, Trainings & Should motivate the people with work environment.

9. Should have valuable consciousness on QMS (ISO9001, ISO13485, and AS9100 & ISO/TS 22163) activities, which is, need to be followed.

10. Should coordinate with Quality team on Customer issues of providing Root cause, Corrective action & Preventive action.

11. Should adhere to his commitment given to the management of Quality, Production & Delivery.

12. Should control & Monitor union employees on their output on shift basis.

13. Should improve the productivity & Control the quality issues by implementing Poke Yoke & Lean Concepts.

14. Chairing Material review board- (MRB) & to stop production if found any non-conformity.

15. The candidate should have welding experience (Tig, Mig, Aluminium and spot welding).
