Role Summary

We are looking for a hands-on quality professional to lead QA, QC and laboratory operations at our plant. You will ensure product quality and regulatory compliance, run an accredited laboratory, and support customers and the R&D; and production teams.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead incoming raw material, in-process and finished product quality control for geogrid, geocell and geosynthetic products.
- Manage the laboratory, including testing, calibration, method validation, and NABL and GAI-LAP accreditation requirements.
- Implement and maintain the QMS (ISO 9001), including SOPs, work instructions, internal audits, MRM and documentation.
- Handle certification and compliance work such as CE, BIS and customer or third-party approvals.
- Plan and review testing from external labs as required by certifying bodies and product qualification standards.
- Investigate customer complaints and non-conformities using RCA and CAPA, and prevent repeat issues.




- Monitor raw material specifications and support the evaluation of current, more cost-effective materials.
- Provide technical support to production, R&D;, marketing and customers, including customer visits and trials.
- Prepare monthly QA/QC reports and half-yearly summaries for management.
- Apply continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Kaizen, FMEA, 5S) to reduce defects and customer complaints.
- Lead, train and develop the QA/QC and laboratory team.

Requirements

- B.E./B.Tech in Polymer, Plastics, Textile, Chemical or Mechanical Engineering, or M.Sc. in Chemistry or Polymer Science.
- 6 -10 years of QA/QC experience in geosynthetics, technical textiles, polymers or plastics manufacturing.
- Fluency in Gujarati (speaking, reading and writing) is required, along with working Hindi. The role involves daily coordination with plant staff, local vendors and regulatory offices

Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
