Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and responsible Store Executive with excellent hardware product knowledge to manage daily store operations, inventory control, material receipt and issuance, and stock maintenance. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of hardware items, tools, fasteners, fittings, and other industrial or construction-related materials.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day store operations and maintain proper inventory records.
- Receive, inspect, verify, and store incoming materials against purchase orders and delivery challans.
- Issue materials to departments, projects, technicians, or customers as per authorized requests.
- Maintain accurate stock registers, GRN (Goods Receipt Notes), material issue slips, and inventory reports.
- Ensure proper identification, labeling, storage, and arrangement of hardware items.
- Monitor minimum and maximum stock levels and coordinate with the purchase department for timely replenishment.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and reconcile discrepancies.
- Identify slow-moving, non-moving, damaged, and obsolete inventory.
- Coordinate with suppliers, purchase teams, accounts, and other departments.
- Ensure proper housekeeping, safe material handling, and compliance with store procedures.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly inventory and consumption reports.

Required Hardware Knowledge

The candidate must have excellent practical knowledge of hardware products, including:

- Nuts, bolts, screws, washers, anchors, fasteners, and threaded rods.
- Hand tools, power tools, cutting tools,



and measuring instruments.
- Bearings, hinges, locks, handles, clamps, brackets, and fittings.
- Pipes, valves, plumbing fittings, and related accessories, where applicable.
- Electrical hardware and industrial consumables, where applicable.
- Knowledge of product sizes, specifications, grades, materials, brands, and applications.
- Ability to identify hardware items by name, size, type, and technical specification.

Skills and Competencies

- Strong inventory management and material identification skills.
- Working knowledge of MS Excel and inventory management software or ERP systems.
- Good documentation, record-keeping, and stock reconciliation skills.
- Ability to coordinate with suppliers and internal departments.
- Attention to detail, honesty, discipline, and a proactive approach.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and maintain stock accuracy.

Preferred Experience

- Previous experience in a hardware, industrial, engineering, construction, or manufacturing store.
- Experience in material inward and outward processes, stock audits, and inventory control.
- Familiarity with purchase orders, GRNs, delivery challans, and material requisitions.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

- Inventory accuracy and stock reconciliation.
- Timely receipt and issuance of materials.
- Reduction in stock discrepancies and material losses.
- Availability of critical hardware items.
- Proper documentation and store organization.

Important Requirement: Candidates with excellent hardware product knowledge and hands-on store management experience will be given preference.
