Key responsibilities:

1) Machine setup and job changeover

- Review the job card: laminate structure, substrates (PET, BOPP, CPP, PE, metallised film, aluminium foil, paper), adhesive system and coat weight.
- Load and splice primary and secondary reels; set web path, tension, nip pressure, temperature and line speed.
- Prepare and mix adhesives (solventless two-component or solvent-based) at the correct ratio, and verify mix ratio and pot life.
- Carry out fast, clean changeovers, including cleaning of rollers, doctor blades and mixing units.

2) Machine operation

- Run the laminator at target speed while monitoring web alignment, wrinkles, tunnelling, air bubbles and edge trim.
- Control coat weight (GSM) and adjust settings to maintain consistent lamination.
- Rewind finished rolls to the correct length, diameter and core size, then label and move them to the curing area.
- Track curing times and release rolls to slitting or pouch making only after curing is complete.

3) Quality control

- Perform in-process checks: coat weight, bond strength (peel test), appearance and print registration of printed webs.
- Identify defects such as delamination, wrinkles, adhesive spots, curl, odour or solvent retention, and take corrective action.
- Quarantine and report non-conforming material to the supervisor and QA team.




- Follow food-safety and hygiene requirements (e.g. GMP, BRCGS Packaging, ISO 9001 / FSSC 22000 where applicable).

4) Maintenance and housekeeping

- Conduct daily machine checks, cleaning and lubrication as per the preventive maintenance schedule.
- Report breakdowns and abnormal noise, vibration or temperature to maintenance promptly.
- Keep the work area clean and organised in line with 5S.

The company will provide the following benefits to the selected candidate:

- Total Relocation Allowance: USD 500 per month, as an estimated relocation support amount provided by the company.
- Food Allowance: USD 250 per month.
- Rent/Accommodation Allowance: USD 250 per month. The candidate's eligible rent/accommodation expenses will be covered by the company.
- Employment Type: Permanent Role.
- Job Location: Tema, Ghana, Africa.
- Air Ticket: The company will bear the cost of the candidate's air ticket for travel/joining to Ghana
