1. Job Summary

Life Care Multispeciality Hospital is looking for a qualified and dedicated Pharmacist to join our pharmacy team. The candidate will be responsible for dispensing medicines accurately, maintaining pharmacy inventory, ensuring proper storage of medicines, and supporting protected and effective medication management for patients.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Dispense medicines accurately as per valid prescriptions and hospital protocols.
- Verify prescriptions for dosage, strength, frequency, and potential medication discrepancies.
- Maintain adequate stock of medicines, consumables, and pharmacy supplies.
- Monitor expiry dates, batch numbers, and proper storage conditions of medicines.
- Receive and verify incoming pharmaceutical supplies for quantity and quality.
- Maintain pharmacy records, stock registers, billing records, and inventory documentation.
- Coordinate with doctors, nurses, and other departments regarding medication availability.
- Assist patients by providing basic guidance on medicine usage, dosage, storage, and precautions.
- Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations, hospital policies, and patient safety standards.




- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and proper storage within the pharmacy.
- Report stock shortages, damaged medicines, or discrepancies to the Pharmacy In-charge.

3. Educational Qualification

- D.Pharm or B.Pharm from a recognized institution.
- Valid registration with the applicable State Pharmacy Council.

4. Experience Required

- 0–3 years of experience in a hospital or retail pharmacy.
- Freshers with valid registration are encouraged to apply.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy, inventory management, and billing will be an added advantage.

5. Required Skills

- Good knowledge of medicines and prescription handling.
- Basic understanding of inventory management and drug storage practices.
- Familiarity with pharmacy billing software and basic computer applications.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail, integrity, and a patient-focused approach.

6. Working Conditions

- Full-time, on-site position.
- Willingness to work rotational shifts, including weekends and holidays as required.

7. Salary and Benefits

Salary will be decided according to prevailing market standards, based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and suitability for the role. Other benefits will be as per hospital policy.

Pay: ₹8,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
