Roles & Responsibilities

- Create and modify 3D models, 2D drawings, and assemblies using SolidWorks.
- Develop mechanical components, sheet metal parts, and assemblies based on project requirements.
- Prepare detailed manufacturing drawings with dimensions, tolerances, and material specifications.
- Interpret engineering drawings, sketches, and customer specifications.
- Modify existing designs based on customer requirements and engineering changes.
- Coordinate with production, quality, and manufacturing teams to ensure design feasibility.
- Maintain engineering drawings, design documentation, and revision records.
- Support prototype development and resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure designs meet quality standards and manufacturing requirements.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience in SolidWorks 3D modelling, assembly, and 2D drafting.
- Good knowledge of engineering drawings and GD&T.;




- Understanding of mechanical components and manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of sheet metal design will be an added advantage.
- Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Automobile industry experience will be an added advantage.
