Factory Supervisor – Steel Fabrication (7+ Years)

M/s Pooja Enterprises, a structural steel fabrication and supply company in Ankurhati, Howrah, needs an experienced Factory Supervisor to run our shop floor and labour team.

Responsibilities:

- Run the daily production line: plan the day's jobs, allot work to fitters, welders, cutters, grinders and helpers, and get output done on time
- Manage and control labourers on the shop floor — attendance, discipline, work allocation and productivity
- Read fabrication drawings and BOQs; guide marking, cutting, drilling, fitting and welding as per drawing
- Check quality at every stage (dimensions, welding, finish) before material moves forward; get rejections reworked
- Control material and consumable use on the floor; minimise scrap and wastage
- Ensure safety rules and PPE use on the shop floor
- Coordinate with the store, QC and dispatch; report daily production to management

Requirements:

- Minimum 7–8 years in production / factory line in a steel fabrication or structural workshop, with experience supervising labour




- Practical technical knowledge of fabrication processes: cutting, fitting, welding, drilling, measurement and drawing reading
- Robust leader who can handle workers and get the job done
- ITI / Diploma (Mechanical/Fabrication) preferred, but strong shop-floor experience matters most
- Candidates living near Ankurhati / Dhulagari / Howrah preferred

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience)
