Job Description: Business Analyst

Department: Business Development / Operations Designation: Business Analyst Location: Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh Reports To: Management / Business Head

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Data Analysis & Reporting: Collect, analyze, and interpret sales, service, financial, and operational data to support business decisions.

2. MIS & Dashboard Preparation: Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly MIS reports, performance dashboards, and management reports.

3. Sales Performance Analysis: Monitor sales targets, lead conversion rates, customer inquiries, order status, and salesperson performance.

4. Business Process Improvement: Identify operational gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities to improve productivity and business performance.

5. Market Research: Analyze market trends, competitor activities, customer demand, pricing, and business opportunities.

6. KPI Monitoring: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to sales, service revenue, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.

7. Cross-Department Coordination: Coordinate with sales, service, CRM, accounts, spares, and dispatch teams to collect data and monitor business activities.

8. Financial & Cost Analysis: Analyze expenses, profitability, revenue trends, and cost performance to support management decisions.

9. Forecasting & Planning: Assist management in sales forecasting, business planning, target setting, and resource allocation.

10. Data Accuracy & Validation: Verify data accuracy, maintain records, identify discrepancies, and ensure timely submission of reports.

Management Support: Provide actionable insights, recommendations, and analytical reports to support strategic and operational decisions.

12. Process Documentation: Prepare and maintain SOPs, process reports, workflow documentation, and performance review reports.

Required Skills

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, including Pivot Tables, lookup functions, and dashboards.
- Knowledge of Power BI or other data visualization tools is an advantage.
- Valuable communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to interpret business data and present findings clearly.
- Strong attention to detail and time management.
- Knowledge of CRM, ERP, and MIS reporting systems is preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 1-2 years of relevant experience in business analysis, MIS reporting, sales analysis, or operations analysis.
- Preferred Industry: Sales, automobile, construction equipment, machinery, or equipment dealership.
