Job Description (JD) – Factory Manager

Roles & Responsibilities

- Production Management: Manage daily factory operations for wooden furniture, modular furniture, doors, wardrobes, cabinets, and customized interior products.
- Production Planning: Prepare production schedules according to project requirements, drawings, and delivery timelines.
- Drawing & Design Coordination: Read and interpret technical drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists to ensure accurate production.
- Machine Management: Supervise the operation of panel saws, edge-banding machines, CNC machines, drilling machines, and other woodworking equipment.
- Manpower Management: Manage carpenters, machine operators, polishers, helpers, and production supervisors.
- Quality Control: Ensure accuracy of dimensions, edge finishing, joinery, laminates, veneers, polishing, and final product quality.
- Material Management: Monitor plywood, MDF, particle board, solid wood, laminates, hardware, adhesives, and other materials to minimize wastage.
- Finishing & Assembly: Ensure proper assembly, sanding, polishing, painting, and finishing as per approved samples and specifications.
- Project Coordination: Coordinate with Design, Purchase, Project, and Site teams to ensure timely production and dispatch.
- Cost Control:



Control material wastage, labour costs, rework, and overall manufacturing expenses.
- Safety & Maintenance: Ensure machine maintenance, worker safety, fire safety, and proper housekeeping within the factory.
- Dispatch Management: Ensure finished products are properly inspected, packed, and dispatched according to project schedules.
- MIS & Reporting: Maintain daily production reports, material consumption records, manpower productivity, and delivery status.
- Process Improvement: Implement efficient manufacturing practices to improve productivity, quality, and production capacity.

Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of wooden furniture and modular interior manufacturing.
- Ability to understand AutoCAD drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists.
- Knowledge of woodworking machinery, laminates, veneers, and finishing processes.
- Robust leadership, planning, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in production planning, material optimization, and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet strict delivery deadlines.

Minimum Exp. 8 to 10 years

Pay: ₹50,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month
