1. Job Summary

JPK Automation is looking for a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to support electrical installation, panel wiring, machine automation, troubleshooting, testing, and commissioning activities. The candidate should have a good understanding of electrical systems, industrial automation, and electrical safety standards.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Design, assemble, and troubleshoot electrical control panels.
- Perform electrical wiring and installation for industrial machines and automation systems.
- Read and interpret electrical circuit diagrams, wiring diagrams, and engineering drawings.
- Work with PLCs, HMIs, sensors, relays, contactors, and other automation components.
- Assist in PLC programming, HMI configuration, and automation system integration, as required.
- Perform electrical testing, fault diagnosis, and troubleshooting of machines and control systems.
- Support machine installation, commissioning, and maintenance activities at customer sites.
- Identify electrical faults and implement corrective actions to minimize machine downtime.
- Ensure proper cable routing, termination, earthing, and electrical connections.
- Prepare and maintain electrical documentation, wiring diagrams, and testing reports.
- Coordinate with mechanical, production, and automation teams to complete projects on time.
- Follow electrical safety procedures, quality standards, and company guidelines.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control panels.
- Ability to read electrical drawings and circuit diagrams.
- Knowledge of PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, sensors, relays, and contactors.
- Understanding of electrical wiring, cable termination, and earthing.
- Basic knowledge of electrical testing instruments such as multimeters and clamp meters.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of industrial automation and machine commissioning.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to travel to customer sites, if required.

4. Educational Qualification

Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or an equivalent technical qualification.

5. Experience

Candidates with 1–3 years of experience in industrial electrical systems, control panel wiring, machine automation, or commissioning will be preferred. Freshers with relevant technical knowledge may also be considered.
