Job Description

Sarathie HR Consultancy is a boutique HR consulting and recruitment firm working with established organisations across Architecture, Interior Design and Infrastructure sectors.

We are currently hiring a highly skilled and experienced Senior Architectural Draftsman / CAD Operator for one of our architectural consulting clients based in Navi Mumbai.

The ideal candidate should have strong technical drafting capabilities, extensive experience in preparing detailed architectural working drawings and construction documentation, and the ability to independently manage drafting assignments while coordinating with architects, engineers and consultants.

Key Responsibilities

Architectural Drafting & Technical Detailing

- Prepare accurate 2D/3D architectural drawings, floor plans, elevations, sections and detailed construction documents using AutoCAD and Revit.
- Develop detailed working drawings, Good for Construction (GFC) drawings, execution drawings and architectural details.
- Prepare door and window schedules, staircase details, finishing layouts and other construction-related documentation.
- Convert architectural concepts and design inputs into technically accurate drawings.
- Incorporate design revisions,



consultant inputs and site modifications into drawings.

Project Coordination & Documentation

- Coordinate with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Identify drawing discrepancies, resolve routine technical coordination issues and escalate design conflicts.
- Maintain drawing registers, revision records, project files and technical documentation.
- Ensure drawings comply with applicable building regulations, project specifications and office drafting standards.
- Support timely issuance of drawings and achievement of project deliverables.

Site Coordination & Quality Control

- Conduct site visits to verify measurements, dimensions and site conditions.
- Coordinate with site teams to clarify technical drawings and execution requirements.
- Prepare as-built drawings based on site measurements and approved modifications.
- Review drawings for accuracy, completeness, coordination and constructability.
- Ensure consistent drafting quality and adherence to project timelines.

Qualifications & Experience

- Diploma or Degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting or a related technical discipline.
- 7–15 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and construction documentation.




- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD is essential.
- Working knowledge of Revit and 3D drafting/modelling is preferred.
- Strong experience in architectural working drawings, GFC drawings and detailed construction documentation.
- Good understanding of building materials, construction methods, technical detailing and building regulations.
- Experience working with architectural consultancy firms, design practices or multidisciplinary project teams is preferred.
- Ability to independently handle drawing packages and coordinate with project teams.
