Position: Public Health Counselor

Key Responsibilities:

Adolescent Counseling & Health Education:

- Provide one-on-one counseling and group sessions on topics related to reproductive health, sexual health, mental health, substance abuse, nutrition, and overall well-being.
- Conduct educational sessions for adolescents and youth about healthy lifestyles, hygiene, and disease prevention.
- Address psychosocial issues and promote positive behavioral changes among adolescents.

Community Outreach:

- Engage with local communities to raise awareness about health and well-being.
- Organize and participate in community-based activities such as health camps, school programs, and youth empowerment sessions.
- Mobilize adolescents and youth to attend counseling sessions and other health-related programs.

Eligibility Criteria:

Postgraduate Degree from a recognized institution in M.S.W. (Master of Social Work), M.A. (Psychology), M.A. (Sociology), or M.Sc. (Rural Development).

A minimum of 55% marks is mandatory.

Proficiency in computer science/information management in data entry/designing/statistics is required.

Essential Experience:





Experience of working at a collective level in any governmental or non-governmental organization and reporting on government schemes as per paragraph 3.

Only experience completed within three years will be considered valid.

Experience acquired through internships/short-term projects will not be considered valid.

Experience in M.S. Excel or online software for reporting/data entry in internet-based systems is mandatory.

Preferred Experience:

preference will be given to candidates who have worked with various institutions under the National Adolescent Health Program.

Local Residency:

Preference will be given to permanent residents of Madhya Pradesh.

Preference will also be given to residents of the same district where the application is being submitted.

Mandatory Documents:

Attested marksheet of the required educational qualification.

Experience certificate:

Permanent residency certificate of Madhya Pradesh.
