Position Summary

We are seeking a commercially minded Financial Accountant who is eager to grow beyond traditional accounting responsibilities and contribute to financial planning, business performance, cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, and executive decision-making. This role is designed for a high-potential finance professional who can grow into a Finance & Business Performance Manager as the company expands.

Mission of the Role

Maintain accurate financial records while providing meaningful financial insights that improve profitability, strengthen cash flow, optimize working capital, and support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain the General Ledger and perform monthly, quarterly, and annual close.
- Prepare financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
- Perform bank, customer, vendor, and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Prepare VAT returns and support external audits.
- Maintain the fixed asset register.
- Assist with annual budgets and rolling forecasts.
- Prepare management reports, KPI dashboards, and variance analysis.
- Support cash flow forecasting and working capital planning.
- Monitor accounts receivable and help improve collections and reduce DSO.
- Analyze profitability by customer, project, service, and business unit.
- Support pricing decisions through financial analysis.
- Improve ERP utilization and automate recurring reports.
- Strengthen finance processes and internal controls.

Qualifications





- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, Economics, or Business.
- Professional qualification preferred: CA, ACCA, CPA, or CMA.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Power BI and ERP experience preferred.

Experience

- 5–8 years of progressive accounting and finance experience.
- Experience in technology, software, engineering, consulting, or project-based businesses preferred.
- Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, or FP&A; is highly desirable.
