Thaamarai World School is seeking a qualified, experienced, and passionate Social Science Teacher to join our academic team. The ideal candidate should have a strong academic background in Social Science and the ability to deliver engaging lessons that develop students' understanding of history, geography, political science, and related subjects.

Candidates with teaching experience in reputed CBSE schools are preferred. All educational qualifications must have been completed through regular mode.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach Social Science according to the CBSE curriculum and academic standards.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, and assessment materials.
- Explain concepts in History, Geography, Political Science, and related areas as applicable to the assigned classes.
- Use interactive teaching methods, maps, charts, presentations, and other learning resources.
- Develop students' critical thinking, analytical skills, and understanding of social and cultural issues.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate student performance, and maintain academic records.
- Identify learning difficulties and provide appropriate academic support.




- Maintain classroom discipline and encourage active student participation.
- Monitor academic progress and communicate with parents when required.
- Participate in academic meetings, school events, and other institutional activities.

Eligibility Criteria

- Master's degree in the relevant Social Science subject is mandatory.
- B.Ed. qualification is mandatory.
- All educational qualifications must have been completed through regular mode.
- Teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school is preferred.
- Strong subject knowledge and effective classroom management skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create an engaging and student-friendly learning environment.

Preferred Qualifications

- Previous teaching experience in a reputed CBSE or international school.
- Familiarity with CBSE curriculum requirements and assessment methods.
