Key Responsibilities
- Scrap Procurement: Source and purchase HMS/LMS as per plant production goals.
- Auction Bidding: Independently manage and execute competitive bidding on portals like MSTC and private platforms.
- Import Sourcing: Handle international scrap buying, import documentation, and customs compliance.
- Vendor Management: Build and maintain robust networks with yard owners, traders, and suppliers.
- Market Negotiation: Track daily price fluctuations to close highly cost-effective deals.
Candidate Profile
- Experience: 3 to 7 years in industrial metal scrap procurement.
- Technical Grip: Strong understanding of HMS/LMS quality grades, recovery rates, and weight metrics.
- Key Skills: Expert negotiator with hands-on experience in electronic auction portals and import logistics.
