QA & QC MANAGER – MEP
JOB SUMMARY

CUBE invites applications from postgraduate Mechanical / Building Services Engineers of proven distinction to join its QA/QC team as QA & QC Manager – MEP. The ideal candidate shall bring demonstrated expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-protection systems, quality assurance and commissioning on large building and infrastructure projects, underpinned by sound technical judgment and skilled rigour. The selected candidate shall be entrusted with safeguarding strict adherence to project specifications, quality benchmarks and applicable statutory codes across the design review, installation, testing and commissioning phases of the project lifecycle.
QUALIFICATION & EXPERIENCE

- Qualification. M.Tech / M.E. in Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering.
- Experience. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience.

Technical Competencies

- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire-protection and building services systems.
- Working knowledge of NBC, BIS, NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA and statutory requirements.
- Hands-on experience in testing, commissioning and handover of MEP systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office and documentation tools.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to coordinate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

The QA & QC Manager shall lead quality surveillance of MEP works for CUBE's PMC / TPQA / project leadership team, including:

- Developing, implementing and monitoring the Quality Assurance Plan (QAP), Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs), checklists and quality management systems for MEP works.
- Reviewing MEP designs, shop drawings, coordinated service drawings, equipment and material submittals, specifications and method statements for compliance with project requirements.
- Inspecting HVAC and ventilation, electrical (HT / LT panels, transformers, DG sets,



cabling, earthing, lighting), plumbing and drainage, fire-fighting, fire-alarm, lifts and building-automation installations.
- Approving vendors, materials and equipment through factory inspection, type-test certificates and delivery inspection.
- Witnessing pressure, leak, insulation-resistance, earthing, balancing and functional tests, and overseeing pre-commissioning, commissioning and handover of systems.
- Conducting quality audits, site inspections and technical assessments at various stages of project execution, including coordination checks with civil and structural works.
- Verifying compliance with the National Building Code (NBC), BIS, Indian Electricity Rules / NEC, ASHRAE, NFPA and other applicable codes and standards.
- Identifying quality deviations, issuing Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), and recommending and tracking closure of corrective and preventive actions.
- Coordinating with clients, consultants, contractors and project stakeholders to resolve technical and interface issues.
- Preparing inspection reports, quality assurance documentation, as-built drawings, O&M; manuals and management-level summaries.

Leading, mentoring and evaluating the MEP QA/QC team, and escalating critical technical or interface risks where required

Pay: ₹60,000.00 - ₹90,000.00 per month
