A QA Tester will be responsible for ensuring that software applications, websites, and systems function correctly and meet quality standards before they are released to users. The role involves identifying bugs, testing software functionality, documenting defects, and working closely with developers and other team members to improve product quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform manual testing of software applications, websites, and mobile applications.
- Create and execute test cases, test plans, and test scenarios.
- Identify, record, and report software defects or bugs.
- Carry out functional, regression, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Verify that reported bugs have been fixed correctly.
- Work closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers to resolve issues.
- Ensure applications meet business requirements and user expectations.
- Maintain transparent documentation of test results and testing progress.
- Participate in Agile meetings, sprint planning, and daily stand-ups where applicable.
- Support continuous improvement of software quality and testing processes.





Required Skills and Qualifications

- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical and communication skills.
- Understanding of software testing principles and methodologies.
- Experience writing test cases and reporting defects.
- Familiarity with bug-tracking tools such as Jira.
- Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Basic understanding of databases and SQL is an advantage.
- Knowledge of automation testing tools such as Selenium or Playwright is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Education and Experience

- A degree, diploma, or relevant qualification in Computer Science, IT, or a related field may be preferred.
- Previous experience in software testing is beneficial, although entry-level opportunities may be available.
- An ISTQB Foundation Level certification is an advantage.

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹18,000.00 per month
