Job Summary

The PGT Computer Science teacher is responsible for teaching Computer Science to senior secondary students, developing their programming and computational thinking skills, and preparing them for board examinations in accordance with the prescribed curriculum and school guidelines.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Teach Computer Science to Classes XI and XII as per the CBSE curriculum and school academic plan.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, assignments, worksheets, and practical exercises.
- Teach programming concepts, Python programming, SQL, database management, computer networks, and other topics prescribed in the syllabus.
- Conduct practical sessions in the computer laboratory and ensure the proper use of hardware and software.
- Develop students' problem-solving, logical reasoning, and computational thinking skills.
- Conduct periodic assessments, practical examinations, projects, and internal evaluations.
- Evaluate answer scripts, maintain academic records, and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students for CBSE board examinations and practical assessments.
- Maintain discipline and ensure safe, ethical,



and responsible use of technology.
- Integrate digital tools, smart-class resources, and innovative teaching methodologies into classroom instruction.
- Support students through remedial classes, enrichment activities, and individual guidance.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, staff meetings, workshops, and school events.
- Maintain computer laboratory records and coordinate with the IT department for technical issues, where required.
- Perform other academic and administrative duties assigned by the Principal.

3. Educational Qualifications

- Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, MCA, or another relevant qualification accepted under the applicable recruitment rules.
- B.Ed. from a recognized institution, where required.
- Meet the prescribed eligibility criteria for PGT Computer Science under the applicable CBSE, KVS, NVS, state-board, or school recruitment rules.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
