Grassroots Study Abroad is hiring an experienced Study Abroad Counsellor to join our growing team in Bangalore. We are looking for someone who has hands-on experience in international education counselling, with prior experience in counselling students being mandatory.
This is a 100% Work From Office role and is suited for a counsellor who wants to take ownership, work closely with students and contribute to the growth of our study abroad business.
Key Responsibilities
● Counsel students on study abroad opportunities based on their academic profile, career goals and budget.
● Guide students on universities, courses, admission requirements and application processes.
● Manage the student journey from initial counselling through application and admission.
● Follow up with students and maintain an active counselling pipeline.
● Coordinate with universities and internal teams wherever required.
● Maintain accurate student records and update CRM regularly.
● Achieve counselling,
application and enrolment targets.
● Stay updated on university requirements, intakes, scholarships and visa-related developments. Requirements: Prior experience as a Study Abroad Counsellor / International Education Counsellor.
● Multi destination counselling experience is mandatory.
● Robust knowledge of European study destinations and university application processes.
● Fluent in Kannada and English.
● Strong communication, counselling and relationship-building skills.
● Must be based in Bangalore/Bengaluru.
● Willing to work from office – no remote/hybrid option.
