We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll, Absence & Time Tracking Functional Lead to lead the design, configuration, implementation, and support of Workday Payroll solutions. The ideal candidate will have robust functional expertise across Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking, with a proven track record of successful Workday implementations and post-production support.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead the design, configuration, and deployment of Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking solutions.
- Configure payroll structures while ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Gather business requirements, conduct workshops, and translate requirements into scalable Workday solutions.
- Design and maintain Time Tracking and Absence policies aligned with organizational needs.
- Support testing activities including Unit Testing, SIT, UAT, and Payroll Parallel Testing.
- Provide post-go-live support, issue resolution, troubleshooting, and data validation.




- Create functional documentation, training materials, and knowledge transfer sessions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, project teams, and consultants to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support payroll-related audits and compliance reporting.

Required Qualifications

- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Workday Payroll, Absence, and Time Tracking.
- Minimum 2 full-cycle Workday Payroll implementations.
- Strong experience in Workday configuration, business process design, and testing.
- Workday certifications in Payroll (USA), Time Tracking, and/or Absence preferred.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to lead client-facing discussions, workshops, and training sessions.

Preferred Skills

- Experience supporting complex payroll environments.
- Knowledge of payroll compliance and regulatory requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience with Workday production support and enhancement projects.
