Qualifications:

· Graduate or Diploma holder in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, or a related technical discipline.

· Specialized OEM certification in digital imaging equipment or copier repair will be an added advantage.

Experience:

· 4–6 years of core hands-on experience in the installation, servicing, and repair of multi-functional printers (MFPs), photocopiers, or heavy-duty production printing machines.

· Proven experience in technical troubleshooting, handling breakdown calls, and maintaining Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC).

Key Responsibilities:

· Attend standard printer service calls, emergency breakdown calls, and routine preventative maintenance (PM) requests at client sites.

· Install and configure multi-function copiers, office systems, and production printers at customer locations.

· Diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, electronic, and print quality related errors.

· Resolve hardware and software issues, including persistent paper jams, firmware glitches, and system/data configuration errors.

· Conduct product demonstrations and train end-users/corporate clients on basic machine handling, operation, and self-care.

· Maintain machine performance and track overall equipment uptime targets across assigned corporate accounts.

· Document and submit accurate service reports, customer visit logs,



and machine installation clearance certificates.

· Follow up systematically on Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and spare parts replacements to maximize account retention.

· Coordinate closely with the internal sales and core technical helpdesk teams to manage customer requirements efficiently.

· Ensure swift closure of pending customer complaints within defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Key Competencies:

· Deep technical knowledge of contemporary photocopying machines, office printers, interactive boards, and production printers.

· Strong diagnosis skills involving mechanical assemblies, electronic circuit boards, and digital imaging solutions.

· Proficiency in communication with professional email/letter typing skills, and utilizing MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) for service reporting.

· Problem-solving capabilities to handle on-site customer friction, print quality complaints, and technical escalation systems.

Time management and travel readiness across regional zones to support field engineering service deployments.
