Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Accounts Intern to assist our accounts and finance team with day-to-day accounting activities, documentation, reconciliations, and tax-related work. This internship will provide hands-on exposure to accounting processes and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping activities.
- Maintain and organize financial records, invoices, bills, and vouchers.
- Assist in bank reconciliation and ledger scrutiny.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of financial statements and reports.
- Assist with GST, TDS, and other taxation-related documentation and compliance work.
- Help with data entry and accounting software operations.
- Assist in preparing audit files and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure accurate and timely completion of assigned tasks.
- Maintain confidentiality and accuracy while handling financial information.
Eligibility Criteria
- Pursuing or recently completed B.Com, M.Com, or a related commerce qualification.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial concepts.
- Knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
- Familiarity with Tally or other accounting software will be an advantage.
- Good numerical, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Willingness to learn and ability to work in a team.
- Strong attention to detail and a responsible attitude.
