Roles & Responsibilities / Required Skills

- SAP BTP Architecture: Strong understanding of SAP Business Technology Platform (BTP) architecture, core services, platform capabilities, and cloud-native application development.
- Cloud Runtime & Deployment: Hands-on experience deploying and operating applications on SAP BTP Cloud Foundry and/or Kyma runtimes.
- SAP BTP Core Services: Experience with Destination, Connectivity, XSUAA, and SAP HANA Cloud services for application connectivity, authentication, and persistence.
- Identity & Access Management: Knowledge of SAP Identity Authentication Service (IAS), Identity Provisioning Service (IPS), authentication, authorization, and role-based access control.
- CAP Java Development: Robust hands-on experience with SAP Cloud Application Programming Model (CAP) using Java for developing enterprise-grade cloud applications and services.
- Java & Spring Boot: Strong fundamentals in Java and practical experience with Spring Boot for developing scalable, maintainable, and high-performance backend applications.
- CDS Modeling & Service Definitions: Experience designing Core Data Services (CDS) models, defining entities and relationships, and implementing CAP service definitions.
- OData V4 & REST APIs: Expertise in designing, developing, and consuming OData V4 services and REST APIs for enterprise application integration.
- CAP Event Handlers & Service Implementations:



Experience implementing CAP Java event handlers, custom service logic, and business-specific service implementations.
- Custom Actions & Business Logic: Ability to develop custom actions and functions and implement draft handling, validations, determinations, and transaction management in CAP applications.
- SAP HANA Cloud & Persistence: Experience implementing persistence and data access using SAP HANA Cloud, including data modeling and application-level database integration.
- Integration & External Services: Hands-on experience with SAP Integration Suite, external service consumption, enterprise API integration, and event-driven integration patterns.
- Messaging & Asynchronous Processing: Understanding of messaging, event-driven architectures, and asynchronous processing for building loosely coupled and scalable applications.
- DevOps, CI/CD & Application Operations: Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices on SAP BTP, including deployment automation, monitoring, logging, tracing, troubleshooting, and application security.
- Cloud-Native Development & Testing: Understanding of cloud-native design principles and 12-factor applications, with experience in CAP testing, mocking strategies, and developing secure, reliable, and maintainable solutions.
