Overview

- Position: Site Engineer – Civil
- Experience: 5 to 8 years in Industrial Building Construction (preferred)
- Location: JNPT
- Project Type: G+2 Industrial Building
- Total Construction Area: 1,59,000 Sq. Ft.

Responsibilities

The candidate should have strong technical knowledge and hands-on experience in the following areas:

- Piling Work: Valuable knowledge of piling execution, pile integrity, quality control, pile load testing, and related documentation
- RCC Structure: Hands-on experience in reinforcement, shuttering, concreting, quantity verification, and execution of RCC structural works
- Quality Control: Ensure all construction activities are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project requirements
- Daily Site Monitoring: Monitor daily site activities, labour productivity, material consumption, equipment deployment, and contractor performance
- DPR Preparation: Prepare and submit the Daily Progress Report (DPR), including work progress, manpower, machinery, material consumption, planned activities, and site constraints
- Drawing Coordination: Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, identify discrepancies, and coordinate with the concerned consultants and management
- Site-Level Problem Solving:



Identify and resolve day-to-day site issues in coordination with contractors, consultants, and management
- Planning & Execution: Ensure work is executed as per the project schedule and achieve daily, weekly, and monthly targets
- Safety Compliance: Ensure adherence to site safety procedures and coordinate with the safety team to maintain safe working conditions
- Coordination & Reporting: Maintain proper site records, measurement sheets, inspection requests, checklists, and progress updates, and report critical issues to management on time

Required Skills

- Strong technical knowledge of piling and RCC structural works
- Good site execution, supervision, and quality-control skills
- Proficiency in reading construction drawings and maintaining site documentation
- Ability to prepare DPRs and monitor daily progress against planned targets
- Good coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to handle contractors, labour teams, and site-level challenges independently, with support from management when required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹35,000.00 per month
