PLC Automation Engineer
Location: S. Kolathur, Chennai
Employment: Full time
Experience: 1–3 years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech – Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, Automation or Mechatronics.Key Skills:

- Industrial PLC / DCS systems
- Leading hardware platform experience preferred (e.g., Siemens, Rockwell, Schneider, or equivalent modular PLCs)
- PLC programming, troubleshooting, and modification
- HMI / SCADA development and troubleshooting
- I/O configuration and loop checking
- Industrial communication protocols (Modbus, Profinet, Profibus, Ethernet/IP)
- Control panel and instrumentation understanding
- FAT, SAT, commissioning, and site troubleshooting
- Reading electrical and instrumentation drawings
- Preparation of technical documentation

Responsibilities:

- Develop and modify PLC/HMI/SCADA programs.
- Troubleshoot PLC, HMI,



communication, and instrumentation issues.
- Execute automation projects from engineering through commissioning.
- Perform FAT/SAT and site commissioning.
- Coordinate with customers, vendors, and project teams.
- Prepare I/O lists, control narratives, functional logic, and project documentation.
- Provide technical support for existing automation systems.
- Travel to customer sites when required.

Preferred Candidate:
Someone who has practical, hands-on experience programming and troubleshooting industrial PLC systems, rather than only having theoretical automation knowledge.

Pay: From ₹25,000.00 per month
