JOB SUMMARY

We are looking for a curious, detail-oriented, and research-driven Research Assistant to work closely with the Doctor –

Scientific Research Consultant on molecular research projects, scientific literature reviews, project reports, dissertations, and

research documentation.

The ideal candidate will enjoy exploring scientific topics in depth and using AI-powered tools to support literature searches,

research analysis, scientific writing, and information synthesis. Fresh graduates with relevant academic research exposure

and candidates with 1+ year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Molecular research & project support: Assist with molecular biology and molecular diagnostics research projects; support

project and dissertation preparation; review scientific literature; organize research findings, data, references, and

documentation.

- AI-assisted research: Use tools such as ChatGPT, Elicit, Consensus, Perplexity, NotebookLM, and other relevant platforms to

support literature discovery, summarization, research question development, and content structuring.

- Scientific validation:



Verify AI-generated information against reliable scientific publications and primary sources; maintain

accuracy, appropriate citations, and responsible use of AI tools.

- Documentation & reporting: Prepare research summaries, reports, presentations, literature reviews, abstracts, and other

scientific documents; organize citations and references using suitable reference-management tools.

- Coordination: Work closely with the Scientific Research Consultant, clarify research requirements, share progress updates,

incorporate feedback, and complete deliverables within agreed timelines.

- Continuous learning: Track relevant scientific developments, emerging research methods, and new AI tools that may improve

research efficiency and quality.

EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS

- B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Genetics, Life Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Freshers with relevant academic projects, dissertations, or research exposure may apply.
- Candidates with 1+ year of experience as a Research Assistant or in molecular biology-related projects are preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

- Strong curiosity and willingness to investigate scientific questions in depth.




- Practical familiarity with AI-powered research and productivity tools.
- Ability to search, read, understand, summarize, and interpret scientific papers.
- Analytical thinking, scientific writing, and transparent communication.
- Attention to detail in references, research data, and documentation.
- Ability to coordinate with scientific stakeholders and manage deadlines.

PREFERRED EXPERIENCE

- Academic or hands-on project exposure in molecular biology or molecular diagnostics.
- Familiarity with PubMed, Google Scholar, Zotero, Mendeley, basic data analysis, or scientific visualization.
