Job Title: Security Officer

Qualification:

- Ex-Army personnel preferred.
- Army discharge documents and service records, as applicable.
- Experience in security supervision or administration is preferred.
- Knowledge of fire safety, emergency management, and security procedures.
- Positive leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
- Physically fit, disciplined, and capable of managing security teams.
- Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergencies.

Job Description:

- Overall Security Management: Ensure the safety and security of hospital premises, staff, patients, students, and visitors.
- Security Supervision: Supervise security guards and ensure proper deployment at all entry and exit points.
- Access Control: Monitor visitor entry, verify identification, and maintain visitor records.
- Discipline and Vigilance: Maintain discipline, enforce security protocols, and identify suspicious activities.
- Patrolling and Surveillance: Conduct regular security rounds and monitor CCTV cameras.
- Emergency Management: Handle emergencies such as fire accidents, theft, violence, and unauthorized entry.
- Fire and Safety:



Ensure compliance with fire safety procedures and assist with emergency evacuation.
- Incident Investigation: Investigate security incidents, prepare reports, and inform hospital management.
- Staff Training: Train security personnel in discipline, emergency response, crowd control, and safety procedures.
- Asset Protection: Safeguard hospital buildings, equipment, vehicles, and other valuable assets.
- Traffic and Parking Management: Regulate vehicle movement and ensure proper parking within the premises.
- Shift Management: Prepare duty rosters, monitor attendance, and ensure proper shift handovers.
- Coordination with Authorities: Coordinate with police, fire services, and other emergency agencies when required.
- Confidentiality: Maintain confidentiality regarding hospital operations, staff, patients, and security matters.
- Daily Reporting: Submit daily security reports, incident reports, and recommendations to the administration.
