2. Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Process Engineer to join our consultancy team for the preparation

of Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for environmental infrastructure and civil engineering projects. The

candidate will be responsible for process design, technical assessments, engineering calculations,

preparation of technical reports, and coordination with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality

DPRs in accordance with applicable standards, guidelines, and client requirements.

4. Key Roles and Responsibilities

● Prepare Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) for water supply schemes, sewage treatment plants

(STPs),



water treatment plants (WTPs), wastewater treatment facilities, and other

environmental infrastructure projects.

● Conduct site assessments, field surveys, data collection, and analysis of existing infrastructure

and project requirements.

● Carry out process design, design calculations, and sizing of treatment units based on project

requirements and applicable design standards.

● Prepare process flow diagrams (PFDs), process descriptions, hydraulic calculations, mass

balance calculations, and preliminary equipment specifications.

● Evaluate and recommend appropriate treatment technologies based on technical feasibility,

operational requirements, environmental considerations, and lifecycle costs.

● Develop project cost estimates, quantity calculations, and technical inputs for BOQs and

project budgets in coordination with civil, mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation teams.

● Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, engineering notes, and other DPR-related

documentation.

● Ensure compliance with applicable CPCB, MoEFCC, CPHEEO, BIS, and relevant State Pollution

Control Board guidelines, as applicable to the project.

● Coordinate with clients, government departments, project authorities, and internal design

teams for technical discussions and approvals.

● Review drawings, design calculations, specifications, and technical documents prepared by

other disciplines.

● Assist in preparation of tender documents, technical specifications, and responses to technical

queries.

● Incorporate client comments and review observations into revised DPRs and ensure timely

submission of deliverables.

● Support project teams during technical presentations, review meetings, and project approval

processes





5. Educational Qualifications

● Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Civil Engineering.

● Master of Technology (M.Tech) in Environmental Engineering / Environmental Science and

Engineering or an equivalent relevant specialization.

6. Experience and Technical Skills

● Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in environmental engineering, infrastructure

consultancy, process design, and DPR preparation.

● Proven experience in preparing DPRs for STPs, WTPs, wastewater treatment, water supply, or

related infrastructure projects.

● Strong knowledge of treatment processes, process calculations, hydraulic design, and

engineering principles.

● Familiarity with CPHEEO manuals, CPCB guidelines, applicable environmental regulations, and

relevant engineering standards.

● Working knowledge of AutoCAD, MS Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint.

● Ability to review engineering drawings, technical specifications, cost estimates, and BOQs.

● Strong technical report-writing, analytical, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

● Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet project submission deadlines.
