When employees encounter technical problems, they need support that gets them back to work without unnecessary delays. We’re looking for an IT Support Analyst in Bengaluru to investigate technical issues, assist users and help maintain the reliability of workplace systems. This position is suitable for someone with a practical understanding of IT, a methodical approach to troubleshooting and the ability to explain technical solutions clearly.

You’ll handle support requests involving computers, business applications, user access and network connectivity. Alongside resolving day-to-day issues, you’ll document recurring problems, maintain support records and work with other IT team members to keep systems functioning smoothly.

Areas of Responsibility

- Respond to technical support requests and diagnose hardware, software and operating system problems.
- Troubleshoot desktops, laptops, printers and other workplace devices.
- Investigate internet connectivity, Wi-Fi, VPN and basic network access issues.
- Install and configure operating systems, business applications and approved software updates.
- Assist with user accounts, password resets, access permissions and account-related requests.
- Record incidents, document troubleshooting steps and update tickets with resolution details.
- Monitor outstanding requests and escalate complex issues to the relevant technical teams.
- Help prepare devices and user accounts for new employees and staff transfers.
- Perform routine system checks and assist with IT equipment maintenance.
- Follow internal procedures for information security, software access and device handling.

Skills and Background

- Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems and common office applications.
- Understanding of computer hardware, software configuration and troubleshooting methods.
- Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS and DHCP.
- Ability to investigate user issues and identify when specialist assistance is needed.
- Clear communication skills and accurate technical documentation.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365, remote desktop tools or IT service management platforms is an advantage.
- A degree, diploma or certification in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field is preferred.

Freshers with relevant technical training, academic projects or practical troubleshooting knowledge are encouraged to apply. Candidates with previous help desk or desktop support experience are also welcome.
