We’re looking for an Accountant with hands-on experience in bill discounting / invoice factoring to own the accounting for our factoring book. You’ll manage purchased receivables, reserves, collections reconciliation, and client settlements, and help keep our books accurate, audit-ready, and scalable as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

- Record and reconcile purchased invoices, advances, reserves, and factoring fees for each client account
- Reconcile debtor (broker/shipper) payments to open invoices; apply cash and resolve short pays and unapplied funds
- Process reserve releases, rebates, chargebacks, and recourse items
- Prepare client statements and settlement reports
- Handle month-end close: journal entries, accruals, fee income recognition, and bad-debt reserve
- Prepare financial statements and management reports
- Support the CFO with audits, tax filings, lender reporting, and borrowing-base certificates

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1+ years of accounting experience in bill discounting, invoice factoring, receivables finance,



or a similar lending/finance company
- Robust reconciliation skills with high-volume transactions
- Proficient in QuickBooks (or similar) and advanced Excel
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable working under daily deadlines

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
