Role Description The Application Sales Engineer is a full-time, in office role based in Tiruchirappalli. This position involves engaging with clients to understand technical requirements, proposing suitable engineering or software solutions, and supporting the sales process with detailed technical explanations and demonstrations. Day-to-day responsibilities include preparing proposals and quotations, collaborating with engineering and development teams to tailor solutions, and providing post-sales technical support to ensure successful implementation. The Application Sales Engineer will conduct testing or validation activities as needed, respond to customer queries, and maintain accurate documentation of client interactions and project status.



The role requires regular coordination with internal stakeholders, participation in product training, and contribution to continuous improvement of offerings and processes.

Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Technical Support skills to assist customers during pre-sales and post-sales stages.

Candidates should possess Software Development skills to understand, tailor, and explain application-level solutions.

Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to address and interpret requirements for client projects.

Candidates should possess Mechanical Engineering skills to support solutions involving mechanical components and system integration.

Candidates should possess Testing skills to validate solutions, ensure quality, and troubleshoot performance issues.

Solid analytical and problem-solving abilities, with capacity to translate customer needs into technical specifications.

Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present technical information to non-technical audiences.

Ability to work on-site in Tiruchirappalli, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage multiple client engagements.

Relevant degree or diploma in Engineering (Mechanical, or related field) with computer proficiency.

Prior experience in application engineering, technical sales, or customer-facing engineering roles will be an advantage.

Pay: ₹260,000.00 - ₹600,000.00 per year
