Job Description – BIM Coordinator / Design Coordinator
Industry: Data Centre
Location: Mumbai (30 MW and 80 MW Data Center Projects)
Position: BIM Coordinator / Design Coordinator

Educational Qualification

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Relevant certifications in BIM/Revit will be an added advantage

Experience

- Minimum 10+ Years of experience
- Must have experience in Data Centre and/or MEP Projects
- Strong exposure to BIM coordination and multidisciplinary design management

Key Responsibilities

- Manage and coordinate BIM models across Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, and Civil disciplines.
- Ensure clash detection and resolution through BIM tools.
- Coordinate with design consultants, contractors, and project stakeholders.
- Monitor design deliverables and ensure adherence to project timelines.
- Review drawings, layouts, and design documents for compliance with project requirements.
- Lead design coordination meetings and track action items.
- Support project teams in BIM implementation and best practices.




- Maintain model accuracy and ensure proper document control procedures.
- Coordinate design changes and update models accordingly.
- Prepare project reports and status updates for management.

Required Skills

- Solid knowledge of BIM Coordination
- Hands-on experience with Autodesk Revit
- Experience in Navisworks and clash detection
- Understanding of MEP Systems and Data Centre Infrastructure
- Design Management & Stakeholder Coordination
- Drawing Review & Technical Documentation
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Project coordination and reporting expertise

Mandatory Requirements

- 10+ years of overall experience
- Must be from Data Centre / MEP background
- Prior experience as BIM Coordinator or Design Coordinator
- Candidate should possess a Laptop
- Exposure to large-scale Data Centre projects preferred
