Job Overview

We are seeking experienced Sea Kayaking Coaches, Trainers, and Instructors to deliver practical kayaking instruction, develop paddling skills, maintain water safety standards, and ensure participants are prepared for emergencies and rescue situations.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct sea kayaking training sessions for beginners and experienced participants.
- Teach paddling techniques, steering, manoeuvring, balance, and kayak control.
- Train participants in water safety, hazard awareness, and responsible boating practices.
- Assess weather, sea conditions, tides, and other risks before activities.
- Demonstrate rescue techniques, capsize recovery, and emergency response procedures.
- Inspect kayaks, paddles, personal flotation devices, and safety equipment before sessions.




- Supervise participants on the water and enforce safety protocols.
- Develop progressive training plans and monitor participant performance.
- Maintain emergency readiness, training records, and incident reports.
- Support kayaking excursions, outdoor programmes, and water-based events.

Qualifications & Skills

- 5–7 years of experience in sea kayaking, paddlesports, boating, or related instruction.
- Strong practical paddling skills and knowledge of coastal conditions.
- Demonstrated competence in water safety, rescue procedures, and emergency response.
- Knowledge of weather assessment, tides, marine hazards, and boating safety.
- Strong communication, leadership, and participant-management skills.
- Recognised kayaking, lifesaving, first-aid, or water-rescue certifications preferred.

Salary & Incentives

Salary: Based on market standards + incentives.
