Key Responsibilities

- Manage end-to-end procurement of electrical, and project-related materials for EPC projects.
- Prepare and release Purchase Orders (POs) as per approved requirements.
- Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable vendors and suppliers.
- Obtain quotations, compare prices, and prepare Comparative Statements (CS).
- Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
- Coordinate with the Project, Design, Store, and Accounts departments for material requirements.
- Ensure timely delivery of materials at project sites as per project schedules.
- Follow up with vendors for order confirmation, dispatch, and pending deliveries.
- Maintain purchase records, vendor databases, quotation files, and procurement reports.
- Verify material specifications, quality requirements, and approved technical documents before placing orders.
- Monitor purchase costs and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality.
- Coordinate with the Accounts Department regarding vendor bills, payments, and outstanding balances.
- Handle vendor-related issues,



material shortages, and delivery delays.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and approval procedures.

Required Skills

- Knowledge of EPC procurement and purchasing processes.
- Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
- Experience in preparing Comparative Statements, Purchase Orders, and MIS reports.
- Good knowledge of electrical materials, substation equipment, and transmission line materials.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Office, and ERP/purchase software.
- Good communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.

Educational Qualification

- Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering, or a relevant qualification.

Experience

- 2–5 years of experience in purchase and procurement, preferably in EPC, Substation, or Transmission Line projects.

Job Types: Full time, Permanent

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
