Freelance Enzymology Research Scientist

Role Overview

We are seeking an Enzymology Research Scientist to support projects involving enzyme structure, kinetics, activity, purification, characterisation, and enzyme engineering.

Key Responsibilities

- Review enzyme research methodologies and experimental designs.
- Analyse enzyme kinetics and catalytic activity studies.
- Review enzyme purification and characterisation approaches.
- Support enzyme engineering and optimisation projects.
- Conduct literature reviews related to enzymology.
- Interpret biochemical research findings.
- Support manuscript preparation and publication.
- Address scientific reviewer/client comments.

Required Educational Background

- Master's or PhD in Biochemistry,



Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Enzymology, Biochemical Engineering, or related field.

Required Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant research experience in enzymology, enzyme engineering, or biochemical research.

Key Subject Expertise

- Enzyme kinetics.
