Job Summary

Wellcaza Group Hospitality is preparing to launch a recent Italian restaurant in Kochi and is looking for a skilled and passionate Italian Chef to join our culinary team.

We are seeking a candidate with hands-on experience in Italian cuisine, food preparation, kitchen operations and maintaining high standards of food quality, hygiene and presentation.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare authentic Italian dishes, including pasta, pizza, risotto, sauces, soups and other Italian specialities.
- Develop and maintain consistent recipes, portion sizes, taste and presentation.
- Manage food preparation, ingredient selection and kitchen mise en place.
- Maintain food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
- Monitor kitchen inventory, ingredient quality, wastage and food costs.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely order execution.
- Assist in menu development, recipe standardisation and new restaurant setup.
- Maintain quality and consistency during busy service periods.

Eligibility and Experience





- Relevant culinary qualification or professional kitchen training preferred.
- Proven experience in Italian cuisine is strongly preferred.
- Practical knowledge of Italian cooking techniques, sauces, pasta and pizza preparation.
- Ability to manage kitchen workflow and maintain food quality standards.
- Creativity, teamwork and a strong commitment to customer satisfaction.

Salary

₹25,000–₹40,000 per month, negotiable depending on experience, culinary skills and suitability.
