Job Summary We are looking for a skilled and motivated Design Engineer to design, develop, and prepare technical drawings for conveyor systems and material handling equipment. The candidate will coordinate with production, purchase, and sales teams to ensure accurate designs and timely completion of projects. Key Responsibilities - Design conveyor systems such as belt conveyors, roller conveyors, screw conveyors, chain conveyors, and vertical conveyors. - Prepare 2D engineering drawings and 3D models using AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar CAD software. - Prepare General Arrangement (GA) drawings, fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, and customer approval drawings. - Calculate conveyor dimensions, belt speed, load capacity, motor power, gearbox ratios, and drive arrangements. - Select suitable materials, bearings, rollers, pulleys, sprockets, motors, gearboxes, and other mechanical components. - Prepare Bill of Materials (BOM) and material specifications. - Coordinate with the production and fabrication teams to resolve design-related issues.



- Review customer requirements and prepare designs according to technical specifications. - Make design modifications based on customer feedback and production requirements. - Ensure drawings meet quality, safety, and manufacturing standards. - Support the sales and quotation teams with technical details and costing inputs. Required Skills - Knowledge of mechanical engineering and conveyor systems. - Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks. - Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings. - Knowledge of fabrication, welding, sheet metal, and mechanical components. - Understanding of motors, gearboxes, bearings, chains, belts, and sprockets. - Good problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. Educational Qualification - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, B.E. Mechanical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification. Preferred Experience - Experience in conveyor manufacturing, material handling equipment, or machine design. - Knowledge of conveyor calculations, BOM preparation, and fabrication drawings.
