Green World Group is looking for a motivated and student-focused Academic Counsellor to join our Mumbai office. The ideal candidate will be responsible for counselling prospective students, understanding their career goals, providing information about our academic and professional courses, and guiding them through the admission process.

The candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, a positive attitude, and the ability to achieve enrolment targets while maintaining a high standard of student service.

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel prospective students about available courses, course structures, eligibility criteria, and career opportunities.
- Understand students’ educational backgrounds and career aspirations and recommend suitable courses.
- Handle enquiries through phone calls, walk-ins, email, and other communication channels.
- Follow up with prospective students and convert enquiries into admissions.
- Explain course fees, payment options, admission procedures, and programme details.
- Maintain accurate records of student enquiries, follow-ups, and admissions in the CRM or database.
- Achieve individual and team admission targets.
- Build positive relationships with students and parents by providing accurate and timely information.
- Coordinate with the admissions, sales, and marketing teams to ensure a smooth enrolment process.
- Stay updated on course offerings, industry requirements, and career development opportunities.

Skills and Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in any discipline.




- Experience in academic counselling, educational sales, student admissions, or customer service is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn may also apply.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English and Hindi; knowledge of Marathi is an advantage.
- Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and convincing skills.
- Ability to handle student enquiries, follow up consistently, and achieve targets.
- Basic computer knowledge, including MS Office, email, and CRM tools.
- A student-oriented mindset with a professional and positive approach.
