Job Title: Quality Site Engineer – HVAC

Salary : 30000 to 55000 Monthly
Experience: 3–7 years in HVAC installation and quality inspection
Qualification: Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering

1. Job Objective

To ensure that all HVAC installation activities at the project site comply with approved drawings, technical specifications, project quality plans, applicable standards, and client requirements. The Quality Site Engineer is responsible for conducting inspections, maintaining quality documentation, coordinating with consultants and clients, and ensuring proper testing and commissioning of HVAC systems.

2. Key ResponsibilitiesA. HVAC Installation Quality Inspection

- Inspect HVAC installation activities, including ducting, piping, equipment installation, insulation, and supports.
- Verify that installations comply with approved shop drawings, technical specifications, and method statements.
- Check duct dimensions, alignment, joint sealing, supports, and installation workmanship.
- Inspect HVAC piping for material specifications, routing, supports, jointing, and insulation.
- Verify installation of AHUs, FCUs, chillers, ventilation fans, exhaust systems, and other HVAC equipment, as applicable.
- Check equipment alignment, levelling, vibration isolation,



and accessibility for maintenance.
- Ensure correct installation of dampers, filters, versatile connections, valves, and other HVAC accessories.

B. Inspection and Testing

- Prepare and conduct inspections in accordance with the approved Inspection and Test Plan (ITP).
- Raise Inspection Requests (IRs) and coordinate inspections with the client, consultant, and QA/QC team.
- Perform or coordinate duct leakage testing and pressure testing of HVAC piping systems, as applicable.
- Verify insulation thickness, vapour barriers, and finishing quality.
- Check installation of fire dampers, smoke dampers, and fire-stopping provisions against approved requirements.
- Coordinate testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) of air and water systems.
- Support HVAC pre-commissioning, commissioning, and functional performance checks.
- Ensure all inspection and test results are recorded and approved.

C. Quality Documentation

- Prepare and maintain Inspection Requests (IRs), Material Inspection Requests (MIRs), checklists, and test reports.
- Maintain approved drawings, method statements, ITPs, and quality records at the site.
- Prepare and maintain HVAC installation inspection checklists.
- Maintain records of pressure tests, duct leakage tests, insulation inspections

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
