Responsibilities

- Monitor mothers during labour and assess maternal and fetal well-being.
- Assist obstetricians during normal deliveries and emergency obstetric procedures.
- Provide pre-delivery, intrapartum, and post-delivery nursing care.
- Monitor vital signs, fetal heart rate, and progress of labour.
- Assist with emergency management and follow hospital protocols.
- Provide immediate newborn care and assist with neonatal resuscitation when required and within the nurse’s training.
- Maintain accurate patient records and delivery documentation.
- Follow infection control, patient safety, and medication administration protocols.
- Educate and support mothers regarding postnatal care and breastfeeding.
- Coordinate effectively with doctors and other healthcare professionals.

Qualifications and Requirements

- GNM or B.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
- Valid nursing registration with the applicable State Nursing Council.
- Previous labour room or maternity nursing experience preferred.

Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
