JOB DESCRIPTION – JUNIOR AUTOCAD DRAFTSMAN

Department: Fire Fighting & Plumbing

Job Responsibilities

- Prepare 2D AutoCAD drawings for fire fighting and plumbing systems in residential, commercial, and industrial projects.
- Prepare layouts, shop drawings, working drawings, sections, and detailed drawings as per project requirements.
- Assist in preparing fire fighting system layouts, including sprinkler systems, hydrants, hose reels, and fire piping.
- Prepare plumbing layouts for water supply, drainage, soil, waste, and rainwater systems.
- Coordinate drawings with architectural, structural, and other MEP services to avoid clashes.
- Revise drawings as per engineer instructions, site requirements, and client comments.
- Incorporate site changes and maintain updated drawings.
- Assist in preparing as-built drawings and material quantity details wherever required.
- Coordinate with Project Engineers and Site Engineers for drawing clarifications and execution support.

Educational Qualification





- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Draftsman (Mechanical)
- Candidates with basic mechanical engineering knowledge and an interest in fire fighting and plumbing systems are preferred.

Required Skills

- Basic to positive working knowledge of AutoCAD 2D.
- Basic understanding of mechanical drawings, piping layouts, dimensions, and symbols.
- Knowledge of fire fighting and plumbing drawings will be an added advantage.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings.
- Good attention to detail, accuracy, and willingness to learn.
- Basic knowledge of MS Office is preferred.

Experience

- Freshers or candidates with 0–2 years of relevant experience may apply.
- Candidates with experience in MEP, fire fighting, plumbing, or mechanical drafting will be preferred.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹38,000.00 per month
