Job Title: Site Engineer – MEP Projects Position Summary

The Site Engineer will be responsible for the execution and delivery of assigned projects across India, ensuring that all work is completed in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, project schedules, and safety requirements.

The role involves day-to-day site management, labour coordination, material and resource planning, progress monitoring, billing support, documentation, and project closure. The Site Engineer will coordinate closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion.

Key Responsibilities1. Project Execution and Site Management

- Execute site activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams.
- Monitor daily site progress and ensure work is completed within agreed timelines.
- Manage labour deployment, productivity, and day-to-day site coordination.
- Identify and coordinate design changes, site deviations, and rework requirements.

2. Planning, Monitoring, and Reporting

- Review project documents, work orders, drawings, and site requirements before execution.
- Assist in preparing project schedules, site mobilisation plans, and kick-off documentation.
- Prepare and submit daily and weekly progress reports.
- Maintain accurate site records, work progress updates, and project documentation.

3. Material and Resource Management

- Coordinate with procurement and vendors for timely material delivery.
- Maintain material receipt, stock, issue, consumption, and tracking records.
- Ensure proper storage, handling, and utilisation of materials at site.
- Monitor material consumption and reconcile materials during project closure.

4. Equipment and Site Support





- Arrange and coordinate the availability of required site equipment, including cranes, lifts, DG sets, and other project resources.
- Ensure proper utilisation and maintenance of equipment and site resources.
- Coordinate the establishment and maintenance of basic site infrastructure.

5. Billing and Commercial Support

- Assist in preparing running account (RA) bills, measurements, and supporting documents.
- Track variations, additional items, deviations, and site-related commercial claims.
- Coordinate with the accounts and commercial teams regarding billing and payment follow-ups.
- Verify and assist in processing subcontractor bills based on actual work executed.

6. Quality Assurance, Testing, and Safety

- Ensure that executed work complies with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning, and rectification of identified deficiencies.
- Follow company safety procedures, site protocols, and applicable health and safety requirements.
- Report quality issues, unsafe conditions, and execution-related risks to the concerned authorities.

7. Project Handover and Closure

- Support final inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handover.
- Prepare and compile completion records, as-built drawings, and other required handover documents.
- Ensure material reconciliation, site clearance, and closure of pending activities.
- Assist in completing project closure formalities and resolving outstanding site issues.

Required Skills and Competencies

- Site execution, construction management,



and project coordination.
- Technical understanding of MEP, mechanical, civil, or electrical works, as applicable to the assigned project.
- Knowledge of drawings, specifications, measurements, and site documentation.
- Material management, resource planning, and cost control.
- Billing support, quantity measurement, and variation tracking.
- Communication, coordination, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to manage site activities and work effectively with multiple stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

- B.E. / B.Tech in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical Engineering, or a relevant discipline.
- Diploma holders in relevant engineering disciplines may also apply.
- ITI-qualified candidates with relevant technical experience may be considered for suitable site-level responsibilities.

Experience

- Experience in construction, MEP execution, project engineering, or site management is preferred.
- Freshers with relevant qualifications and a strong willingness to learn may be considered for suitable openings.
- Willingness to travel and work at project sites across India is required.
