AC Technician – Job Description

Job Title: AC Technician
Department: Maintenance / Technical
Location: [Tiruvallur]
Experience: 1–3 years preferred

Job Responsibilities:

- Install, service, repair, and maintain AC units.
- Diagnose AC problems and identify faults.
- Perform regular preventive maintenance.
- Handle split, window, cassette, and other types of AC systems.
- Check refrigerant levels and perform gas charging when required.
- Repair electrical and mechanical components of AC systems.
- Maintain service records and report technical issues.
- Follow safety procedures while working.
- Attend customer/service requests and complete work on time.

Required Skills:

- Basic knowledge of AC electrical and refrigeration systems.
- Troubleshooting and repair skills.
- Ability to use AC service tools and equipment.
- Positive communication and customer-service skills.
- ITI / Diploma in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning is preferred.
