Job Summary

Joy Consultancy Services is looking for a skilled and analytical Process & Controls Executive / Manager for a manufacturing organization in Madurai.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for documenting, analyzing, and improving business processes, strengthening internal controls, identifying operational and financial risks, and implementing system-driven solutions across departments.

This role offers an opportunity to work closely with the Director – Operations to understand business operations, identify process gaps, and drive improvements through ERP systems, data analytics, AI tools, and automation.

We are looking for a systems-oriented professional who focuses on preventing errors at the source rather than relying on manual checks, registers, approvals, or additional manpower.

The position will be based at the company's Madurai factory and office, with regular visits to the shop floor to understand operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

- Map, document, review, and improve business processes across departments.
- Identify operational inefficiencies, process gaps, financial risks, and control weaknesses.
- Strengthen internal controls across Production, Stores, Quality, Purchase, Accounts, Sales, and HR.
- Develop and implement system-driven controls to prevent errors, minimize manual intervention, and improve operational efficiency.




- Work with ERP systems to monitor transactions, validate data, and improve process compliance.
- Analyze operational and financial data to identify trends, discrepancies, and improvement opportunities.
- Use AI tools, data analytics, and automation to improve documentation, reporting, analysis, and productivity.
- Conduct process audits and support internal audit and assurance activities.
- Develop process documentation, SOPs, control frameworks, and risk assessment reports.
- Build dashboards, reports, and automated control mechanisms using Excel, Python, or relevant tools.
- Collaborate closely with the Director – Operations to implement process improvements.
- Spend regular time on the shop floor to understand actual workflows and operational challenges.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented controls and recommend corrective actions.

Mandatory Qualifications

- CA, CA Inter, CMA, or MBA in Operations or Finance.
- 3–6 years of relevant experience in process improvement, internal audit, risk management, ERP implementation, or process consulting.
- Strong understanding of ERP systems and the ability to analyze data extracts.
- Practical experience using AI tools for analysis, documentation, reporting, or productivity.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel or Python for data analysis.




- Experience in end-to-end process mapping, risk assessment, and identifying control gaps.
- Fluency in both Tamil and English.
- A notice period of 30 days or less is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

- CIA certification or Lean / Six Sigma qualifications.
- Manufacturing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical, FMCG, or similar industries.
- Exposure to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central or Dynamics NAV.
- Experience building dashboards, implementing automation, or developing system-based controls that reduce manual work.
- Knowledge of Malayalam is an added advantage.

Salary

₹7,00,000 – ₹10,00,000 per annum, depending on experience, qualifications, and suitability.

Candidates should be comfortable working at the factory and office, with regular shop-floor engagement.

Pay: ₹700,000.00 - ₹1,000,000.00 per year
