1. Job Summary

IACR Research Institute is looking for an experienced Gastroenterology Trainer to deliver specialized healthcare training to students and healthcare graduates in digestive system disorders, gastrointestinal diseases, diagnostic procedures, endoscopy fundamentals and gastroenterology clinical practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong clinical knowledge, practical experience in gastroenterology and the ability to conduct theoretical, case-based and practical training sessions.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Deliver comprehensive training in Gastroenterology.
- Teach gastrointestinal anatomy and physiology.
- Explain common digestive system disorders and diseases.
- Train students in clinical assessment of gastrointestinal conditions.
- Explain upper GI endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
- Introduce liver diseases and hepatobiliary disorders.
- Teach pancreatic diseases and gastrointestinal emergencies.
- Explain diagnostic investigations and laboratory procedures.
- Introduce endoscopy equipment and its clinical applications.
- Cover infection control and patient safety during GI procedures.
- Conduct clinical case discussions and practical demonstrations.
- Prepare academic presentations, study materials and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance and provide career guidance.

4. Educational Qualifications

- MBBS with relevant Gastroenterology experience.
- MD/DNB General Medicine.
- DM/DrNB Gastroenterology preferred.
- DNB Gastroenterology.
- Fellowship in Gastroenterology with relevant clinical experience.
- Other relevant postgraduate qualifications may be considered based on expertise and teaching experience.

5. Required Skills

- Strong knowledge of gastrointestinal diseases and disorders.
- Understanding of diagnostic and therapeutic gastroenterology.
- Knowledge of endoscopy and colonoscopy procedures.
- Understanding of liver and pancreatic disorders.
- Excellent teaching and presentation skills.
- Ability to conduct case-based learning.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to develop academic content and assessments.

6. Experience

- Minimum 2 years of relevant clinical or teaching experience preferred.
- Experience in Gastroenterology Departments or Multispecialty Hospitals is an advantage.
- Experience in medical education or healthcare training preferred.

7. Compensation
