This role is with a well-established MEP/EPC contracting organisation headquartered in Gurgaon, delivering mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, fire-protection and building-automation systems across commercial, industrial, healthcare, data-centre and infrastructure projects. The search is being managed by Cusec Consulting, a management and talent-advisory firm partnering with leading real-estate, infrastructure and MEP/EPC organisations.

We are seeking Quality Supervisors (MEP) for the Mumbai and Hyderabad project sites to ensure that mechanical, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting installations are executed to approved drawings, specifications and applicable codes — through inspection, testing and quality documentation.

Role overview

Reporting to the Project Manager / QA-QC Manager, the Quality Supervisor (MEP) implements the project Quality Plan and Inspection & Test Plans across all MEP disciplines at site. The role covers material inspection, stage and pre-commissioning inspections, witnessing of tests, raising and closing of non-conformance reports (NCRs) and snag lists, maintaining QA/QC records, and coordinating client, consultant and third-party inspections — ensuring installed works meet quality, safety and contractual requirements. One position is based at the Mumbai site and one at the Hyderabad site.

Key responsibilities

1. Quality planning. Implement the project Quality Plan, Inspection & Test Plans (ITPs) and approved method statements across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting works.

2. Inspections. Carry out material-receipt, in-process, stage and pre-commissioning inspections; raise Work Inspection Requests (WIRs) and obtain consultant/client sign-off.

3. Testing. Witness and record system tests (pressure/leak, insulation/earthing, flushing, functional and pre-commissioning) and verify results against specifications.

4.



Non-conformance. Identify deviations, raise and track non-conformance reports (NCRs) and snag lists through to closure, and drive corrective and preventive action.

5. Documentation. Maintain QA/QC records, checklists, test reports, calibration records and the inspection register; compile QA handover dossiers.

6. Coordination. Coordinate with site execution teams, consultants, clients and third-party inspectors; support quality audits and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Required qualifications and skills

- Diploma / ITI in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (B.E./B.Tech also acceptable), with site QA/QC experience.
- 3–8 years’ experience in MEP QA/QC on building-services / infrastructure projects.
- Working knowledge of MEP systems across HVAC, electrical, plumbing and fire-fighting.
- Familiarity with ITPs, WIRs, NCRs, method statements and test procedures.
- Ability to read drawings and specifications and verify installations against them.
- Strong documentation discipline and inspection record-keeping.

Preferred (valuable to have)

- Experience across commercial, healthcare, data-centre or infrastructure projects.
- Exposure to third-party / authority inspections and QA handover dossiers.
- Willingness to be based at the Mumbai or Hyderabad site.
