Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled ITI Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components while ensuring adherence to quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics accurately
- Operate machines such as lathe, milling, drilling, grinding, and welding equipment
- Use precision measuring instruments like vernier calipers, micrometers, and dial gauges
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance of machinery and equipment
- Follow workplace safety guidelines, SOPs, and company policies at all times
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues efficiently to minimize downtime
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- ITI certification in Fitter trade
- Basic knowledge of mechanical systems and tools
- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring instruments
- Hands-on experience with workshop machines
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Awareness of safety standards and practices
Experience:
- Fresher or 0–2 years of relevant experience
