At Primus Public School, we believe that History is more than dates and events, it is about understanding people, cultures, ideas, and the world we live in. We are looking for a passionate and inspiring Grade 6–10 ICSE History Teacher who can bring the past to life and spark curiosity, discussion, and a love for learning in our students.
The ideal candidate will have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills, and a warm, student-centred approach to teaching. You should enjoy creating engaging learning experiences that encourage students to think critically, ask questions, and connect the past with the present.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging, interactive, and age-appropriate History lessons.
- Inspire students to explore the past with curiosity and develop strong analytical and critical-thinking skills.
- Assess and monitor students’ academic progress and provide meaningful feedback.
- Create a positive, inclusive, and encouraging classroom environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues and actively contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Support students in developing confidence, curiosity, and a genuine appreciation for History.
What We’re Looking For
- Master’s degree in History with a B.Ed. or relevant teaching qualification.
- A minimum of 3 years of teaching experience, preferably with ICSE students.
- Robust understanding of the ICSE History curriculum and assessment practices.
- ICSE evaluation/examination experience would be an added advantage.
- A warm, enthusiastic, and student-focused approach to teaching.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
